Equivalency arrangement
Organic Equivalency arrangement facilitates export and import of organic processed products between trade partners.
Products imported into Korea under the equivalency arrangement can be sold and labeled as organic without Korean organic certification.

- Trade partner: U.S., EU, UK
- Scope: Organic processed foods which are finally processed in trade partners.
- Required documents: eNAQS Import Certificate (via electronic system), a hard copy of certificate of organic conformity
* NAQS Import Certificate can be issued by certification body.
Korean organic certification
To export organic foods not subject to equivalency arrangement to Korea, organic certification under the Act on the Promotion on Environment-Friendly Agriculture and Fisheries and the Management of and Support for Organic Foods (called as Korean Organic Food Act) is required.
- Scope: Organic products certified under Korean Organic Food Act
- Required documents: Transaction Certificate (via handwritten or electronic system) (Table 19 of Enforcement Rule of Korean Organic Food Act), a hard copy of certificate of organic conformity
